Judgement and Award Ceremony


Award ceremonies for the global contests were held around the world together with UNEP, FGPE and partners as a joint program with the government of countries where the major ceremony of "World Environment Day" was held.


Award ceremony of 15th competition in San Francisco, USA in 2006,

with Dr. Klaus Topher, Executive Director of UNEP, and Ms. Tomoko Yano, Secretary General of FGPE.


Award ceremony of 16th competition in Tromso, Norway in 2007,

with attendance of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.


Award ceremony of 17th competition in Wellington, New Zealand in 2008,

with attendance of Her Excellency Ms. Helen Clark, Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Judgment:

 

Judgments of international division also took place around the world at the partners place including UNEP, FGPE, Bayer and Nikon, together with their representatives.  Had a meeting after the judgment for reviewing and planning the future competition.

More than 300,000 paintings from the 1st competition are stored in the institute as valuable collection for the research.
